Preliminary data show total sales by enterprises and cooperatives at the event have reached more than 8.6 billion VND (376,000 USD). Citrus fruits, mainly oranges and pomelos, accounted for the largest share, with 223 tonnes sold, worth more than 7.3 billion VND.

OCOP products such as Danh mountain ginseng and Chu rice noodles also drew many customers, adding diversity to the festival’s commercial space.

The festival has also boosted nearby tourism sites, with visitors combining their trip with tours of historical and cultural relics, religious landmarks, and fruit-growing orchards in Chu Ward and surrounding communes. Several orchards reported a surge in visitor numbers in the first days of the event.

The results underscore the festival’s role as one of the province’s major cultural and tourism events and an effective channel for promoting local farm produce, helping businesses and cooperatives expand markets and increase product value. The festival is scheduled to close on December 10.

Bac Ninh expands safe-cultivation areas to boost agricultural exports

In 2026, the province targets expanding its lychee-growing area to 29,800 ha with an expected output of 160,000 tonnes. Of this, 17,500 ha will be produced under VietGAP standards with an estimated yield of 125,000 tonnes; GlobalGAP-certified lychee areas will be maintained at 235 ha; and organic lychee areas at 10 ha.
