Bac Ninh innovates job fairs, enhances employee-employer connectivity

Updated: 16:24, 14/11/2025

BAC NINH - The Bac Ninh Employment Service Centre No. 1 is strengthening its role as a bridge between workers and businesses by continuously renewing and improving the quality and effectiveness of its job fairs.

Recognising that job fairs are its core activity, the centre’s leadership has consistently researched and introduced innovations to diversify formats, expand coverage, and attract a wider range of participants.

Staff at Bac Ninh Employment Service Centre No. 1 provide consultation on domestic job opportunities at a regular job fair.

The Newwing Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd. (Van Trung Industrial Park), a frequent recruiter at the centre’s job fairs, said it is always satisfied with the well-organised events.

Nguyen Van Huy, the company’s human resources manager, noted: “Through these fairs, we are able to recruit a large number of workers who meet our requirements in both quantity and qualifications, while also saving time and costs.”

For job seekers, the fairs and recruitment days offer timely career counseling and employment guidance. Nguyen Van Huong (born in 1988) from Luc Nam recently passed an interview and was hired by an electronics company during a themed job fair dedicated to workers returning from the Republic of Korea under the EPS Programme.

“I learned about the programme through the centre’s website. I wanted to attend in person because meeting employers directly helps me understand opportunities better and find a job that suits me,” he shared.

Since the beginning of the year, the centre has organised 52 job fairs, including 40 regular fairs, five online events, three mobile fairs, and four themed sessions.

Each year, its staff coordinate with local authorities and unions across the province to survey the labour force and identify job demand.

Based on each locality’s labour characteristics and strengths, the centre invites suitable employers to participate in job fairs and recruitment days.

Aiming to expand outreach and maximise convenience for both recruiters and job seekers, the centre has also adopted flexible formats, combining in-person and online platforms.

Priority is given to connecting with provinces that have large labour supplies, helping businesses secure human resources while creating better access to the job market for workers.
