Organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event carries the overarching theme “The road to happiness”, guiding visitors through 14 interactive spaces that blend art, community and emotion along Hoan Kiem Lake’s pedestrian streets.

The Viet Nam Happy Fest 2025 helps spread Viet Nam’s message of happiness to the world.

Kicking off the journey, the “Moments of happiness” film space showcases real-life stories of family, work, creativity and harmony with nature, reminding audiences that happiness lies in life’s simplest moments.

Around the Hoan Kiem lake, the “Road to happiness” photo exhibition presents hundreds of award-winning photographs from recent years, exploring themes such as “Home is happiness,” “Joy in work,” and “Happiness in sports.”

Visitors can capture memories at the “Photo and digital experience zone”, leaving with personalised keepsakes and messages of pride in a “Happy Viet Nam.” At “Messages to tomorrow,” participants are invited to write heartfelt wishes and post them in the “Happy Viet Nam mailbox,” spreading hope and optimism across the community.

The event’s symbolic centrepiece, the “Tree of happiness,” will display participants’ written messages as “seeds of joy,” creating a radiant “garden of happiness.”

Alongside, the “Happiness seminar” will bring together inspirational speakers and young changemakers to discuss wellbeing and balance in modern life.

The programme also features the “More than love” celebration, where 80 couples will share a collective wedding ceremony symbolising 80 years of the nation’s pursuit of “Independence – Freedom – Happiness.”

Other highlights include the “Blood donation for happiness” campaign, acoustic street performances, and the grand finale Viet Nam Happy Concert 2025, offering a musical journey through the spirit of “Independence, Freedom and Happiness.”

The event concludes with the “Lighting up happiness” ceremony, featuring a nationwide broadcast of the “Viet Nam happiness symbol” video – a powerful message of unity, belief and joy radiating from Viet Nam to the world.

“Happy Garden” and desire to spread good values
