Tan Son bustles as late-season lychee harvest begins
BAC NINH - While lychee harvesting has largely finished in the lowland communes, growers in the mountainous commune of Tan Son are entering the peak harvest season. Thanks to its unique microclimate, Tan Son's lychees ripen later than those in many other growing areas. Cultivated under advanced farming practices, Tan Son lychees have built a strong reputation and are purchased by traders for domestic markets and export. Prices range from 40,000 to 70,000 VND (1.52- 2.66 USD) per kg.
