Violin village in the countryside
BAC NINH – Then village, now part of Tan Dinh Commune in Bac Ninh Province, is home to one of Vietnam’s most unusual cultural traditions, a rural “violin village.” For nearly 70 years, violin music has remained a part of daily life in this farming community of more than 1,700 residents, most of whom earn their living growing gladiolus flowers.
