Bac Ninh leader visits Goertek headquarter in China
BAC NINH - A delegation from Bac Ninh province, led by provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai, visited Goertek’s headquarters in Weifang, Shandong province, on August 28 as part of a working visit to China.
Goertek Chairman Jiang Bin and other senior executives welcomed the delegation.

Goertek began investing in Bac Ninh in 2013 and has since expanded its production and business operations in the province.
After more than a decade, the company has become one of Bac Ninh’s major technology investors, operating large-scale manufacturing facilities and contributing to job creation, industrial growth and exports.

The company has also participated in social welfare programmes and supported local initiatives, including efforts to help farmers sell lychees.
At the meeting, Chairman Jiang Bin said he was pleased to welcome the Bac Ninh delegation and thanked the province for its support and cooperation as Goertek expanded its investment and production operations in Vietnam.
Bac Ninh has become an important manufacturing base for Goertek in Vietnam after more than a decade of investment, Jiang said.
The Bac Ninh provincial Party Chief Nguyen Hong Thai acknowledged Goertek’s contributions to Bac Ninh, particularly its role in promoting industrial growth and exports, creating jobs and strengthening the province’s high-tech manufacturing capacity.
He called on Goertek to explore further investment opportunities in Bac Ninh, particularly in high-tech and high-value-added sectors, research and development (R&D), and smart manufacturing.

He also urged the company to strengthen supply-chain links and help attract supporting companies and business partners to the province, contributing to the development of a high-tech industrial ecosystem.
Bac Ninh considers the success of businesses an important part of its own development, Thai said.
The province will continue to work with investors, address their concerns and create favourable conditions for Goertek and other businesses to maintain stable, long-term and sustainable operations in Bac Ninh.
