39,334 new Covid-19 cases, 35 more deaths reported on Friday.

The number of daily Covid-19 infections in Vietnam has dropped substantially in the past month and a half, experts said, adding that the peak of the latest wave is already over.

Vietnam reports 49,124 new cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday. 

All children aged 5-11 should be vaccinated against Covid-19 within the second quarter, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested the health ministry.
