India-Vietnam Relations: Strong and Getting Stronger
Vietnam and India established their diplomatic relations in 1972 and upgraded the ties to comprehensive strategic partnership in September 2016. They are working to implement an action programme materialising the partnership for 2021-2023. They always support each other and regularly exchange delegation across all levels, particularly high-level ones.
Vietnam, RoK top legislators back upgrading bilateral relationship
Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Park Byeong-Seug expressed their support for upgrading the relationship between the two countries to a comprehensive strategic partnership during their talks in Seoul on December 13.
Vietnam-Russia relationship endures through the years
Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s official visit to Russia comes at a time when Vietnam and Russia have marked their 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties (in 2020) and held a friendship year on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the treaty on fundamental principles of the Vietnam-Russia friendship and the 20th anniversary of the joint statement on the Vietnam-Russia strategic partnership.
