The Ministry of Industry and Trade said domestic companies wishing to export starch to China can now register online, as information on starch products coded HS 1108 and 3050 has been updated on China's online overseas food manufacturer registration platform.

(BGO) – Recently, China has continued tightening commodity export via Lang Son border gate for Covid-19 prevention and control with only 90 – 100 carriages cleared from Vietnam on a daily basis, which creates more challenges for farm produce to export to this market.

Vietnam's fresh chili has been approved by the Chinese authorities for official export, to the world's largest consumer market.

As of March 1, 1,656 Vietnamese firms had received codes granted by China, enabling them to export farm produce and food products to the Chinese market.
