A 100-year-old woman in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam’s oldest Covid-19 patient, has been declared free of the coronavirus and was discharged from hospital on September 12 along with four other patients in the same province.

(BGO)- The provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province on 10 September afternoon held an online meeting with the districts and city on the measures for the pandemic prevention and control. Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong, Deputy Head of the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control chaired the meeting. 

Vietnam has called for the protection of civilians in countries with conflicts and Covid-19 pandemic during an online session of the United Nations Security Council on the implementation of Resolution 2532 on the pandemic on September 9.
