Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has issued a notice calling for traffic safety during the upcoming holidays along with strict observation of regulations on the control and prevention of Covid-19.

Two men returning from Russia, a woman from South Korea, a Belarussian expert, his wife and son were the latest Covid-19 cases reported on Friday. Thirteen Covid-19 patients were also declared virus-free on the same day.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) on December 11 announced a US$600,000 grant to assist the Government of Vietnam in its fight against Covid-19.
