It is a must to produce Covid-19 vaccines and treatment drugs domestically, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said at a meeting with representatives from ministries and agencies in Hanoi on November 27.

Vietnam logged 13,063 new Covid-19 cases, including 15 imported, in the past 24 hours to 4pm on November 27, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced.

Vietnam recorded 12,450 cases of Covid-19, including 21 imported cases, in 59 localities during 24 hours from 4pm November 24 to 4pm November 25, according to the Ministry of Health.

11,811 new Covid-19 cases confirmed on Wednesday. 

Three pharmaceutical companies in Vietnam are planning to or are producing molnupiravir pills to treat Covid-19 patients with mild or no symptoms, according to the Ministry of Health.
