Vietnam has administered 1-1.5 million Covid-19 vaccine doses a day, with the country's injection rate ranking third after China and India in November.

The Ministry of Health reported 15,270 new cases of Covid-19 in 60 provinces and cities across the country on December 16.

Vietnam has signed purchase deals or received donations for nearly 211 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines, with 156.4 million already arrived as of December 10, 2021, according to the Ministry of Health.

Germany handed over 2,558,000 Moderna vaccine doses via the Covax facility in Hanoi today, promising to take total donations to more than 10 million doses.
