Human trials for Vietnam's second homemade Covid-19 vaccine could be completed a month ahead of schedule for commercial production to begin in the fourth quarter.

With Vietnam having contained its latest Covid-19 outbreak, famous tourist hotspots are set to host a series of festivals in the coming weeks.

(BGO) – From the second vaccine batch provided by the Health Ministry, the Health Department in Bac Giang province distributed to 23 units of medical centers at provincial and district levels as well as 10 districts and city. Luc Ngan district received the most doses (1,704 doses) while other districts and city were provided about 1,080 to 1,620 doses.

(BGO) – On April 14, the Health Department held a meeting to hand over the Certificate of Merit bestowed by Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) to 4 enterprises with great contributions to Covid-19 prevention and control in the province.

For the Hung Kings Temple Festival to take place safely and efficiently this year, authorities of the northern province of Phu Tho has directed relevant units to build detailed plans ensuring conditions to thoroughly implement Covid-19 prevention and control measures.
