The Newspaper, Radio and Television of Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, and Hai Phong have jointly launched a photo contest titled “Heritage moments of Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac.”

The contest aims to promote the unique beauty associated with the preservation and enhancement of the values of the Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac world heritage complex, while showcasing the landscapes, people, and everyday life of the three localities.

All Vietnamese citizens aged 15 and above, both in and outside the country, as well as foreigners working, studying, or residing in Vietnam, are welcome to take part in the contest.

Entries may belong to any photographic genre about landscapes, portraits, or daily life, as long as they depict scenes from Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, or Hai Phong.

The photos should capture landscapes, architecture, artifacts, and valuable relics at Yen Tu, Vinh Nghiem, Con Son, and Kiep Bac; rituals, festivals, folk culture, and religious spaces; portraits of those who preserve, teach, or creatively promote the heritage in modern life; as well as activities linking conservation with local tourism and economic development, or innovative approaches to heritage management and utilization.

Everyday scenes of work and production connected with heritage spaces, reflecting the bond between heritage and community, are also encouraged.

Entries can be single photos or photo sets in digital format (jpg), either in color or black and white.

The organizers encourage submissions created from 2023 onward. Winning and selected entries for exhibition will receive certificates from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and will earn regional points in accordance with the association’s regulations.

The organizing committee will award one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and twenty consolation prizes, with a total value of 200 million VND.

Entries will be accepted until March 31, 2026. Results will be announced at the end of April 2026, followed by an award ceremony and photo exhibition in May 2026.
