By product category, phones and components remained the leading export group, generating about 47.3 billion USD.
Computers, electronic products and components brought in about 23 billion USD, while textiles, garments, leather and footwear reached about 992 million USD.
The figures showed that industrial production, particularly processing, manufacturing and electronics, continued to be a key driver of the province's export performance.
Sustained strong growth in major markets is also helping Bac Ninh move closer to its target of 110 billion USD in exports in 2026.
Industrial production also continued to improve alongside the rise in exports. Industrial production value in August was estimated at 312,564 billion VND (about 12 billion USD), up 2.1% from the previous month and 19.4% year-on-year.
In the first eight months of the year, the province's industrial production value was estimated at 2,234.575 billion VND, up 17.5% from the same period last year.
The results provide an important foundation for Bac Ninh to sustain industrial growth, boost exports and contribute to its target of achieving high economic growth in 2026.
