Bac Ninh officials visit workers, policy families ahead of Lunar New Year
BAC NINH - Senior officials of Bac Ninh province on January 28 visited workers, policy families and disadvantaged groups to extend New Year greetings and present gifts ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
Pham Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC), visited New Wing Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd. at Van Trung Industrial Park, where he offered New Year wishes and presented gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.

New Wing Interconnect Technology, a wholly Taiwan-invested enterprise operating in electronic components manufacturing, began operations in 2015. The company has total investment capital of more than 8.9 trillion VND (389.9 million USD), a factory area of 261,000 square metres and employs nearly 30,000 workers.
At the visit, the PPC Chairman presented 360 gift packages to union members and workers facing hardship. Each package included 1 million VND in cash from the provincial Labour Federation and gifts worth 350,000 VND supported by the company’s trade union.
Speaking at the event, the provincial leader praised the company’s production and business results, and its compliance with state policies and labour regulations.
He stressed that economic development must go hand in hand with social progress, urging enterprises to continue improving working conditions and welfare for employees.
The provincial government committed to supporting businesses and ensuring social security for workers, particularly in housing, healthcare and education.

On the same day, Tran Van Tuan, a member of the provincial Party Committee and Deputy Head of the provincial National Assembly delegation, visited and presented gifts to policy families in Phat Tich commune.
He expressed gratitude to heroic Vietnamese mothers, war invalids and people with meritorious service for their contributions to national independence and defence.
Separately, the provincial Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, in coordination with Phoenix International Group Co., Ltd., distributed 32 gift packages, each worth 1.5 million VND to victims of Agent Orange in especially difficult circumstances.
