Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of several central ministries and agencies visit Bac Ninh’s exhibition booth at the Spring Fair 2026.

Designed around the theme “Bac Ninh products – The essence of Kinh Bac,” the exhibition area immediately drew visitors’ attention with its entrance modeled after the provincial logo.

At the center, a small stage with a large LED screen continuously showcased images of historical relics, traditional festivals, landscapes and people of Bac Ninh.

Live performances of sweet and melodic Quan ho folk songs by local male and female singers created a distinctive cultural highlight, encouraging many visitors to stop and enjoy.

On the opening day of the fair on February 2, Bac Ninh booth welcomed Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and senior central government officials.

The Prime Minister listened to Quan ho performances and visited enterprises and cooperatives displaying their products. His presence underscored the significance and prominence of Bac Ninh’s exhibition at a national-scale trade promotion event.

Surrounding the central stage was a diverse system of display booths featuring hundreds of OCOP products, specialty agricultural goods and traditional handicrafts.

Notably, orange and pomelo trees laden with fruit were transported directly from orchards to the fair, serving both as eye-catching decorations and as a way to promote local specialties.

Popular food products such as Dinh Bang “Phu the” cakes, Bui fermented pork rolls, Van village rice wine, Ven herbal tea, Danh mountain ginseng, Cho village rice cakes, Trang Liet peanut candy, Chu rice noodles, Son Dong arrowroot vermicelli, Yen The hill chicken and lychee were widely chosen by visitors as Lunar New Year gifts.

The handicraft section also attracted strong interest, with finely crafted bronze products from Dai Bai, colorful Dong Ho folk paintings and rustic Phu Lang pottery.

Hands-on demonstrations, including Dong Ho woodblock printing and Phu Lang pottery making, drew large crowds, especially young visitors.

Many expressed enthusiasm at witnessing each step of the production process, gaining deeper appreciation for the cultural value and creative labor of artisans.

The Bac Ninh booth remained busy throughout the fair. Nguyen Viet Duc, a 73-year-old visitor from Phu Tho province, said the display was visually appealing and rich in cultural identity, adding that the combination of high-quality products and quan ho performances made the visit enjoyable and meaningful.

Beyond visual appeal, Bac Ninh’s participation delivered tangible trade promotion results. According to Han Thi Luyen, Director of Han Thi Herbal Cooperative, the cooperative introduced four products made from noni fruit, including noni juice, noni tea, noni wine and honey-soaked noni.

She said the products attracted strong demand from the first days of the fair, helping the cooperative connect with distributors in Hanoi and northern provinces.

He added that through large-scale fairs, Bac Ninh aims to boost consumption, build brands, expand distribution networks and move toward sustainable production development.
