Following closely in second place is Thailand's Buriram United, valued at $14.4 million. The most decorated club in Thailand have consistently maintained a policy of heavy investment to compete with continental elites in the AFC Champions League.
Nam Dinh FC stood as Vietnam's representative in the top 3, with a squad valued at approximately $11.3 million.
The surge in valuation is driven by a strategy of recruiting high-profile talent. According to Transfermarkt, Nam Dinh's most valuable asset is South African player Percy Tau, valued at $1.01 million, followed by foreign standouts Chadrac Akolo and Arnaud Lusamba, both valued at $960,000. The team's star striker, Nguyen Xuan Son, Vietnam's main scorer, has a market value of $720,000.
Rounding out the top five are Thailand club Bangkok United and Indonesia's Persib Bandung, both tied with about $8.7 million in value. They are followed by the Lion City Sailors, Singapore's leading club, with a valuation of around $8.4 million.
