The closing and awards ceremony was held on August 9 at the Bac Ninh provincial Gymnasium.

The Bac Ninh Open Robocon 2026 - Foxconn Cup builds on the success of previous Robocon competitions in the province and has expanded participation to teams from across Vietnam.

According to organisers, 150 teams registered for the event, with 126 teams from 14 provinces and cities qualifying to compete. Teams from outside Bac Ninh accounted for about 70% of all participating teams.

The provincial leaders present the first prize in Category 01 to team TQ from Dinh Ke Secondary School and Le Hong Phong Primary School in Bac Ninh province.

The competition was divided into two categories: Category 01 for contestants aged 9 to 15 and Category 02 for contestants aged 16 to 22.

Held under the theme "Bac Ninh convergence", the competition featured challenges inspired by the province's cultural and historical heritage and its development strategy in high-tech industries.

Delegates watch the final match in Category 02.

In Category 01, robots carried out tasks simulating journeys to explore Bac Ninh's heritage sites, traditional craft villages and landmarks.

The final rounds featured intense competition, showcasing the teams' abilities in robot design, manufacturing and programming, as well as teamwork and creative thinking.

The competition was conducted under established rules, with referees and technical supervisors overseeing the matches to ensure objectivity, fairness and transparency.

At the closing ceremony, organisers presented two first prizes, four second prizes, six third prizes and eight consolation prizes across the two categories.

The Standing Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh provincial People’s Committee Mai Son presents certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Bac Ninh People's Committee to organisations with outstanding achievements.

The winning teams also received trophies, medals, certificates, flowers and prizes from the organisers and exclusive sponsor Foxconn Vietnam.

TQ, from Dinh Ke Secondary School and Le Hong Phong Primary School in Bac Ninh, won first prize in Category 01, while Phenikaa Xsmax, from Phenikaa University in Hanoi, won first prize in Category 02.

The organisers also honoured organisations and individuals for outstanding contributions to communications, organisation and support for the competition, and presented certificates of merit from the chairman of the Bac Ninh People's Committee to organisations with notable contributions.
