Go to Bac Ninh: From digital platform to smart tourism ecosystem
BAC NINH - Go to Bac Ninh, an initiative led by the Bac Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is piloting a new approach to tourism promotion by using digital platforms to inspire travellers and content to connect them with destinations, gradually turning online interest into real-world travel experiences.
The initiative is helping build a smart tourism ecosystem connecting technology, culture, communities and the market.

A Quan ho folk song, a Then melody, a traditional craft village passed down through generations or a traditional festival attracting thousands of people are among the cultural values that have shaped the identity of the Kinh Bac region.
In the digital age, however, the challenge is not only how to preserve these values but also how to bring heritage closer to contemporary audiences, particularly younger generations.

The cultural tourism train “Hanoi Five City Gates – The Hanoi Train” is a heritage rail service connecting Hanoi and Bac Ninh. It features modern double-decker carriages with large glass windows for sightseeing, inspired by the ancient Thang Long Imperial Citadel and its five famous city gates. |
Go to Bac Ninh was therefore launched as an official communications system across popular social media platforms to promote the province's culture, people and tourism potential.
The project goes beyond simply putting information online. It aims to change the way destinations are presented to audiences.
