A total of 1,530 students from 30 high schools for the gifted in the northern midland and mountainous region and several other provinces nationwide took part in competitions in academic subjects.

A total of 126 students from Bac Giang High School for the Gifted and Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted in Bac Ninh province take part in the competition.

Bac Giang High School for the Gifted had 66 students competing in 11 subjects, while Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted entered 60 students in 10 subjects.

Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted achieved a 100% success rate, with all 60 contestants winning awards, including 24 gold medals, 28 silver medals and eight bronze medals, ranking first in terms of award quality.

Bac Giang High School for the Gifted had 65 of its 66 contestants win awards, including 23 gold medals, 32 silver medals and 10 bronze medals, ranking second in award quality.

The 2026 Hung Vuong Summer Camp also features scientific seminars, professional activities aimed at improving teaching quality at high-quality educational institutions, academic competitions, robot design and control contests, as well as educational and recreational activities.

The annual event brings together high schools for the gifted in the region to provide a useful platform for students, strengthen the training of gifted students and develop advanced education.

It also helps prepare students for national, regional and international academic competitions while promoting teaching and learning excellence among participating schools.
