"This is the first time such a large event with many domestic game companies is held," Le Quang Tu Do, head of the Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information under the Ministry of Information and Communications, said.

A 3,000-square-meter expo area was divived into six activity zones - Game Expo, Game Forum, Game Arena, Game Awards 2023, Cosplay Contest and Game Workshop. Many gamers from travel hundreds of kilometers from Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An, and Can Tho to enjoy the event.

Several giants in the industry such as VTC, VNG, Gosu, Gamota, OTA Network, Garena, and Funtap set up their booths at the expo zone to showcase their lastest products and services.

Game Arena was held on the afternoon of both days of the event, drawing about 3,000 audiences to watch professional esports competitions.

At the Game Awards event on Saturday, Free Fire won the Game of the Year award, Escaping From Eden won the best Vietnamese Game Sky Dancer, Cuu Duong Chan Kinh was named the game with the best graphic design, while Lien Quan Mobile bagged a double for Excellent Mobile Game and Excellent Esports Game.

The organizers added an extra category, the Vietnamese Game with the best graphic design, for Cuu Duong Truyen Ky.

Cosplay Contest on Sunday attracted 1,000 guests to come and watch the top 10 performances on stage.

Taevii and Pé Fox won the top prize for their cosplays of two generals Irelia - Aphelios in the game League of Legends.

There are also the Game Forum, game workshop, and other sideline activities within the framework of the event.
