The representative of the investor addresses the meeting.

The detailed planning of Van Trung Industrial Park was approved in 2016 with the main investor being Fugiang company. Under the plan, a 96ha land plot in the park is allocated to the S&G Co., Ltd. To meet the S & G Co., Ltd’s land use need and facilitate connection with other zones in the industrial zone, the IP’s planning should be adjusted to balance land allocation with standards and actual needs. 

The adjustment also aims to make the IP’s planning more detailed, enhance its conformability, modernity and create linkages with other existing IPs in the province. At the meeting, a representative of the consultant company, the Hanoi-based MDA D & C Co., Ltd, presented the project on the IP’s planning adjustments.

Accordingly, more than 16 hectares of land in Yen Dung district will be added to the original planning, along with the addition of new or expansion of traffic routes, parking lots, bus stops, workshops, and stores providing auxiliary products to enterprises in the park. Land will be allocated for building houses for workers, while some service providing points near the office and administrative and service area of the park will be added.

Participants mostly agreed with the adjustments and supplements, while focusing on clarifying some issues. 

They asked the consultant company to make clearer the items that S & G Co., Ltd., has implemented in conformity with the old planning, points of connection with the existing transportation routes for more convenient traveling, the expansion of drainage system and power supply for the area with assured quality and stability.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Duong Van Thai requested the investor and consultant unit study participants’ opinions and make suitable adjustments to the project, while assigning the provincial Management Board of Industrial Parks to instruct the implementation of procedures for the project. 

He suggested that the consultant company carefully calculate the location of bus stops for picking up and returning workers in a more suitable manner, taking into account an expected surge in demand for workers in the IP. At the same time, it is necessary to design a synchronous traffic system with convenient connections with existing roads to avoid congestion.

With regard to drainage, he asked for thorough calculation of drainage capacity to cope with rainwater flowing from Nham Bien mountain and adjacent areas. 

It is also necessary to define the power supply source for this area from Van Trung 110 kV transformer station, which was completed recently. 

He noted that the investor asks the consultant company to complete the project’s dossier soon and submit it to the Department of Construction for appraisal and report to the provincial People's Committee in line with regulations. 

Once approved, the investor must map out plans to implement and accelerate the construction of the park’s infrastructure.
