Bac Giang draws 145 million USD in July

(BGO) – Bac Giang province drew a total of exchanged investment capital of 145 million USD in July 2018 that was the second largest amount in the first 7 months of this year.

Of which, there included 5 new domestic projects with the registered capital of 40 billion VND (1.7 million USD) and 6 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects worth 16 million USD while 2 existing FDI projects were given a nod to add the capital up to 127 million USD.

In accumulation, the province has to date attracted over 430 million USD including 64 new licensed domestic projects with registered capital of 823 billion VND (35.3 million USD), 36 FID projects valued nearly 116 million USD and 25 existing projects to increase their capital up to 279 million USD.

Besides, July witnessed 148 newly established enterprises, bringing the total number of the firms registering to set up business since the beginning of this year to 620, up 1.6 percent whereas the total capital reached over 5 trillion VND (214.7 million USD), down 24.2 percent comparing to the same period last year.
