Bac Giang favours Australian enterprises in effective investment

The event was participated by the leaders of the provincial departments of Foreign Affairs, Planning and Investment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Industry and Trade, Public Security Force and the Project Management Board of provincial Industrial Parks.
The guest included Cade Anthony James, Chief Executive Officer of HunterNet Cooperative Limited and Wayne Harold Diemar, Project Director of HunterNet Cooperative Limited.
At the meeting, Chairman Linh briefed the Australian enterprises on the local socio-economy, particularly the agricultural potentials. Bac Giang province is considered one of the biggest orchards in the North of Vietnam with the major fruits as lychee and citrus trees among others.
Additionally, the province is one of the national key areas for animal husbandry with the flock of nearly 15 million chickens and piglet herd of over 1.1 million heads that are fully capable of meeting the material demand for processing factories.

After conducting the survey in Vietnam, the Australian enterprises said they consider Bac Giang an ideal place to build the farm produce processing plant with a high investment opportunity.
The guests who visited the province this time are strong in poultry processing and lychee exporting to the Australian market. The issues they concerned the most included the completion of procedure and investment license as well as the capability and technology of the local partners, targetting at a long-term and effective cooperation.
The provincial leader affirmed that the local authority and competent agencies are willing to facilitate the Australian businesses to invest in the production and trade activities in the province.
Regarding the formalities, he committed to instructing the departments and sectors to timely handle the issues on investment procedure, construction site and introduce the qualified partners for a sustainable collaboration.
Besides, the Australian enterprises are encouraged to carefully survey the local area toward an extended investment promotion. The chicken raising area in Yen The district was introduced to them as a good site for sufficient and correct information.
