Bac Giang lychees attract customers at supermarkets and tourist hotspots

BAC GIANG – For the first time, the Bac Giang provincial Department of Industry and Trade has teamed up with MM Mega Market Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Mova Plus JSC to launch a promotional campaign for Bac Giang lychees at major tourist destinations in 2025. Held from June 21 to 23, the event drew large crowds of visitors who came to taste and purchase the fruit in Da Nang, Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh) and Ho Chi Minh City.

Winners of a lychee-eating contest receive prizes at the MM Mega Market in Da Nang City.

Many customers in Da Nang purchase Bac Giang lychees.

In Quy Nhon, visitors show excitement while tasting the fruit.

Bac Giang lychees are showcased at prominent locations in Quy Nhon—a popular destination for both domestic and international tourists.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the fruit is displayed at an eye-catching spot in MM Mega Market An Phu.

Meanwhile, in Hanoi, consumers line up to buy Bac Giang lychees at the same retail chain.

Bac Giang attracts tourists during lychee harvest season
BAC GIANG – The lychee harvest season in Bac Giang runs from late May to the end of July. This year, thanks to efforts to innovate in tourism promotion and communication, a large number of domestic and international visitors are flocking to Luc Ngan district and Chu township to experience the ripe lychee season.
E-commerce expands market access for Bac Giang lychees

BAC GIANG - More than 100 tonnes of early-ripening lychees from Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province on June 14 landed safely at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, marking a major milestone in the export of Vietnamese agricultural products to Europe.
Bac Giang sells over 60,000 tonnes of lychee
BAC GIANG – As of June 15, Bac Giang province has sold over 60,000 tonnes of lychee, according to the Department of Industry and Trade. About 50,000 tonnes were consumed domestically, while the rest were exported to China, Japan, the United States, Australia, Europe and Canada.

Luc Ngan Lychee Week attracts workers at industrial parks
BAC GIANG – As part of “Luc Ngan Lychee Week,” Bac Giang’s Department of Industry and Trade set up promotional booths near factories and worker housing areas in Van Trung Industrial Park and Noi Hoang ward on June 12. Lychees are made available during workers’ shift breaks, with strong interest from both local and foreign customers, including Chinese buyers.
