In the first three months this year, the management board has granted investment certificates to 18 projects. The total registered investment reached nearly 41 million USD and about 240 billion VND. Currently, local IPs have over 290 investment projects. There remain delays in technical infrastructure building in some enterprises, and obstacles facing compensation for land clearance. Land clearance remains pending in around 19 hectares in the Van Trung IP, because the residents and enterprises have yet to reach compensation way. Meanwhile, tombs owned by two households haven’t been moved out in the south of the Song Khe – Noi Hoang IP. Garbage from several IPs has yet to be collected and treated in a proper manner.
Participants suggested the local authorities and the management board focus on addressing difficulties in site clearance to hand over land to investors while zoning off areas for garbage collection and treatment. IP infrastructure investors need to build bus stops for their buses transporting their employees to ensure traffic safety. Investors of the Song Khe – Noi Hoang IP should accelerate the construction of concentrated wastewater treatment system in the north of the IP.
