The presence of giant corporations and enterprises in semiconductor industry has formed strong foundation for Bac Ninh province to gradually establish a semiconductor industry ecosystem, open more doors for cooperation among electronic enterprises and semiconductor sector as well as further involve in the supply chains.
The achievements in attracting semiconductor projects have been underpinned by the province’s strong and well-developed electronics industry.
Bac Ninh currently has approximately 1,282 enterprises operating in electronics sector, employing around 481,948 workers.
In 2025, the industrial production value of electronics enterprises reached approximately 1.850.389.9 trillion VND (70.36 billion USD), creating favorable conditions for electronics companies to gradually expand operation into semiconductor sector.
Besides, the industrial park network has been completed, meeting demand for attracting high-tech and semiconductor projects.
23 out of 39 industrial parks approved investment policy and investors have come into operation, which have been synchronously invested with traffic infrastructure, power supply, water supply and drainage and connected with infrastructure outside the industrial parks.
In order to facilitate semiconductor enterprises, the province has stimulated investment promotion, support businesses to further participate in value chains and strengthen linkage in training, research and technology transfer.
Besides, it will create space for development of semiconductor industry in industrial parks and encourage strategic corporations and enterprises to expand their investment in the province.
The province also implements the “24-hour green lane” and “60-percent green lane” mechanisms to shorten time required for processing administrative procedures for key, high-tech and semiconductor projects.
In coming time, Bac Ninh province will continue to focus on attracting strategic corporations and enterprises to invest in high value-added segments, supporting enterprises in deeper participation in the semiconductor value chain and promoting training and development of high-quality human resources while strengthening linkages among the government, businesses and educational and research institutions.
With these efforts, the province aims to gradually enhance the capacity of its semiconductor business ecosystem, attract more high-tech projects, expand supply chains and drive local economic development.
