To mark the establishment of Bac Ninh city, Gilimex Bac Ninh Industrial Park Co., Ltd., a member of Gilimex Industrial Park, on September 16 held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction and infrastructure development project of Thuan Thanh III Industrial Park - Zone C in Tri Qua and Thuan Thanh wards.

Bac Ninh provincial leaders Pham Hoang Son and Tran Huy Phuong present flowers to congratulate the project's investor.

The ceremony was attended by Nguyen Anh Tuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, and Pham Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Bac Ninh People's Committee.

The project covers 196 hectares with a total investment of 1.986 trillion VND (about 76.4 million USD). It is located in Thuan Thanh and Tri Qua wards, along a corridor connecting National Highways 17 and 18 with Ring Road 4.

The location provides convenient access to Hanoi, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen and Phu Tho provinces, as well as the seaports of Hai Phong and Quang Ninh and northern border gates.

The industrial park is about 11 km from Gia Binh International Airport, offering further potential for air connectivity and logistics development in the area.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Phuong said Bac Ninh expects the project to not only provide modern industrial infrastructure but also become a destination for high-quality investors.

The project is expected to help create a new industrial space, expand growth momentum to the south of the Duong River and make a practical contribution to Bac Ninh's development, he said.

Phuong asked the investor to mobilise resources and ensure the project's progress, quality and safety while strictly complying with legal regulations.

Construction crews deploy machinery and transport vehicles to ensure the project's progress.

He also called for synchronised investment in technical and environmental infrastructure, efficient use of resources and increased green space, with the aim of developing a green and ecological industrial park.

The investor should proactively and selectively attract high-tech and digital technology projects, as well as industries with high added value that are aligned with the province's development strategy, he said.

On the occasion, the industrial park's investor signed memorandums of understanding with partner businesses.
