He was accompanied by Deputy Secretary of Bac Ninh Municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Pham Hoang Son along with members of the municipal Party Committee's Standing Board.

Bac Ninh Municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai and Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Pham Hoang Son direct the investor and contractors to accelerate infrastructure construction at the Gia Binh resettlement area.

The four resettlement areas cover more than 335 hectares in total. They include the Gia Binh resettlement area, with a planned area of 142.31 hectares; Dong Cuu 1, 30.03 hectares; Dong Cuu 2, 30.35 hectares; and Luong Tai, 173.89 hectares.

Construction units have mobilized workers, equipment and machinery to speed up work, with a number of key items completed or reaching high completion rates to gradually establish infrastructure for resettling affected residents.

During the site inspection on September 28, the municipal leaders asked investors and contractors to mobilize additional workers, machinery and equipment and organize additional shifts to speed up construction of technical infrastructure while ensuring quality and safety.

For areas that are basically ready, households wishing to move ahead may be temporarily handed over their plots without waiting for all infrastructure works to be completed simultaneously.

Local authorities were asked to clearly communicate the arrangement to residents and facilitate construction of their homes. Infrastructure contractors will continue completing the resettlement areas while residents build their houses.

Municipal leaders also stressed that temporary handovers must be accompanied by essential services, including road access, electricity, clean water, drainage, wastewater treatment and waste collection.

Investors were urged to prevent wastewater and waste from causing environmental problems and affecting residents' lives.

Infrastructure at the Gia Binh resettlement area is being expedited for handover to residents.

The municipal Department of Construction and the Bac Ninh No. 2 Civil and Urban Development Project Management Board were tasked with coordinating with local authorities to strengthen supervision of construction and handover, ensuring project quality, security and safety.

Bac Ninh leaders also called on relevant agencies to resolve outstanding difficulties and accelerate the resettlement projects, ensuring residents have housing and essential infrastructure in the immediate term while completing the overall infrastructure system in line with the approved plans and project schedules.
