Bac Ninh: New momentum on production lines
BAC NINH - Production activity is gathering pace at businesses across Bac Ninh as the city enters the final months of 2026, with workers focused on completing orders and maintaining production schedules. Behind the heightened production drive are efforts to maintain jobs, increase workers’ incomes and prepare resources for new production plans, contributing to the city's socio-economic development goals.
At Sphere Vina Co., Ltd. in Bo Ha Ward, production has become busier in recent days. Machines are running continuously as workers coordinate across sewing lines to meet delivery deadlines.

Operating in the garment sector since 2011, the company employs nearly 400 workers, with average monthly income of about 10 million VND (about 390 USD).
After production was disrupted by storms and flooding, the company quickly resumed operations and worked to maintain jobs and incomes for its workers.
At Cayi Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park, production is also running at a brisk pace. The company manufactures stainless steel insulated cups and plastic cups, with a designed capacity of 60 million products a year and nearly 2,000 workers.
Workers on the production lines are focused on completing products while meeting requirements for delivery schedules, quality and productivity. The period has also seen workers step up productivity and work with the company to meet its annual production targets.
Alongside boosting production and stabilising its workforce, Cayi Technology Vietnam has focused on improving working conditions and employee benefits to encourage workers to stay with the company.
Bac Ninh is pursuing a development strategy through 2050 that includes modern, smart and green industrial parks, with priority given to electronics, semiconductors, digital industries and high technology.
The city aims to become a leading regional and national centre for electronics, with a focus on semiconductors, chip manufacturing and artificial intelligence.
It also seeks to maintain high economic growth and increase the contribution of industry and construction to its economic structure.

The busy production lines offer a snapshot of Bac Ninh's economy in the final months of the year, as its expanding industrial base drives growing demand for workers. Many businesses are developing policies to retain employees amid competition for labour.
Tran Van Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, said supporting businesses in recruiting sufficient workers and stabilising the workforce was important to the city's industrial development.

The city's Labour Federation also allocates resources each year to support workers in difficult circumstances, including providing gifts and transport or bus tickets for workers living away from their hometowns to return home for the Lunar New Year.
