Pham Van Thinh, a member of the provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh People’s Committee (PPC), on February 4 received a delegation from the Gyeonggi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Gyeonggi CCI) of South Korea, led by its Chairman Bae Hae-dong.

PPC Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh and other delegates witness the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on investment promotion and business support in Bac Ninh province between the Bac Ninh Industrial Park Investment Support and Development Centre, the Gyeonggi Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry and HS Vietnam Investment Consulting Co., Ltd.

The meeting was also attended by representatives from provincial departments and the honorary Chairman of the Korean Business Association in Viet Nam.

At the meeting, the PPC Vice Chairman highlighted Bac Ninh’s strengths in electronics manufacturing and high-tech industries, noting that the province is home to major factories involved in chip production and semiconductor testing.

He said Bac Ninh is implementing a number of strategic transport infrastructure projects, including an airport and a high-speed railway, which are expected to improve connectivity and create favourable conditions for investors.

The province is committed to creating the most favourable environment for investors during site surveys, investment procedures and production and business operations, he said.

Nhan Dat Tien Co., Ltd signs an MoU with the Gyeonggi Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry and HS Vietnam Investment Consulting Co., Ltd on surveying, market access, pre-feasibility support and investment promotion for Phase 2 of Que Vo II Industrial Park.

Representatives of Gyeonggi CCI thanked Bac Ninh for the warm reception and said they were impressed by the province’s advantages and development potential. They expressed confidence that the signing of memoranda of understanding would help strengthen cooperation between the two sides in the coming period.

Under the agreements, the Bac Ninh Investment Support and Industrial Park Development Centre, Gyeonggi CCI and HS Vietnam Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding on investment promotion and business support in Bac Ninh province.

In a separate deal, Nhan Dat Tien Co., Ltd., Gyeonggi CCI and HS Vietnam Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. signed an MoU to survey, facilitate pre-feasibility support and promote investment in Que Vo II Industrial Park Phase 2.
