FIFA Women’s World Cup trophy is set to arrive in Vietnam this March

The trophy of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup will arrive in Vietnam in March 2023, as part of the promotional series for the tournament, scheduled to be held in Australia and New Zealand later this year.

According to FIFA, the FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy Tour will take the iconic trophy to all of the tournament's participating nations. The event officially kicked off on February 25, with Japan as the starting point.

According to the schedule announced by FIFA, the FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy, after departing from Japan, will visit a series of Asian countries before stopping in Vietnam for 2 days, on March 4 and 5. Vietnam will be the fourth country in this journey after Japan, the Republic of Korea and the Philippines.

On July 14, the trophy tour will end its journey in the host country New Zealand, one week before the tournament officially kicks off.

At the 2023 Women’s World Cup, the Vietnamese women's team will be in Group E, with the US, the Netherlands and one of the three teams: Thailand, Portugal or Cameroon.
