Google launches AI service package in Vietnam for $5
Google has rolled out three subscription plans for its AI services, with prices starting at VND122,000 (US$5) per month, among the lowest in Vietnam.
On Wednesday the U.S. tech giant announced that users in Vietnam and 40 other countries could register for its AI Plus service.

The package was first introduced in Indonesia in early September and has received positive feedback.
Vietnamese users can choose from AI Plus at VND122,000, AI Pro at VND489,000 ($19) and AI Ultra Pro at VND6 million.
In comparison Claude and ChatGPT offer basic plans at $17-20. Vietnamese tech company Misa provides AI services starting at VND500,000 ($20).
Google said the package is designed to give students affordable access to most premium features.
Each account holder can share storage with up to five family members.
All plans include access to Google’s main AI features such as Gemini in Gmail and Drive, the Gemini 2.5 Pro, Veo 3 video generation, and the full version of research and writing tool NotebookLM.
AI Plus offers 200 monthly AI credits to spend on video generation, limited access to NotebookLM’s premium features, and 200 GB of storage for Drive, Gmail and photos.
The Pro option provides 1,000 AI credits and 2 TB of storage.
