The meeting was chaired by Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) and attended by Chairman of Goertek Jiang Bin and leaders of provincial departments and sectors.

Jiang Bin thanked Bac Ninh authorities for creating favorable conditions that have enabled Goertek to expand its operations at Que Vo Industrial Park for more than a decade.

He said Goertek, which has been present in the province for over 11 years, has become a strategic partner of leading global technology brands.

The group has recruited highly skilled workers and outstanding graduates locally, forming a high-quality technical workforce of Vietnamese professionals. This is regarded as an important direction in Goertek’s human resources development strategy in the coming period.

Speaking at the reception, PPC Chairman Tuan praised Goertek’s contribution to Bac Ninh’s socio-economic growth and reiterated the province’s commitment to supporting foreign-invested enterprises that demonstrate responsibility to the community.

He welcomed Goertek’s efforts in training and employing local staff in key production processes, and encouraged the group to upgrade its training center into a specialized institute that could serve not only foreign vendors but also domestic enterprises.

Providing an update on Bac Ninh’s socio-economic development, the Chairman said that following the merger, the province has benefited from synergies with neighboring localities, with its economic indicators ranking among the country’s leaders.

He added that the Politburo’s resolution on the “four pillars” has created momentum for national growth, and Bac Ninh has also seen marked progress.

The provincial leader expressed optimism over Goertek’s business results and suggested the company organize workplace tours for students and outstanding employees to inspire learning and professional development.

He also noted the recent establishment of Bac Ninh’s Industrial Production Association, which brings together science and technology firms with a pool of highly skilled personnel, offering Goertek opportunities to expand cooperation with Vietnamese partners.

At the end of the meeting, he presented Goertek leader with a traditional handicraft gift from Bac Ninh.

Earlier the same day, Nguyen Van Gau, a member of the Party Central Committee and Bac Ninh provincial Party Secretary, also met with Jiang Bin and the Goertek delegation.

Emphasizing Bac Ninh’s consistent view that the sustainable growth of businesses is also the province’s success, the Party Secretary affirmed the province’s commitment to fully support investors and enterprises, including Goertek Group, to ensure long-term stability and sustainable development in Bac Ninh.
