On September 25, construction started on a social housing project for trade union members in Bac Ninh, invested by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour. The project covers 19,417 square meters with total investment of 388 billion VND (17 million USD).

Two other projects will kick off on September 27. The first is Phase 2 of the Bac Hung Hai irrigation system’s repair and upgrade, overseen by Bac Ninh’s Transport and Agriculture Project Management Unit No. 2, with total investment of 537 billion VND (23.6 million USD).

The second is a commercial apartment complex on lot CT3 in the detailed plan of the residential area along Xuong Giang road, invested by Dat Vuong Real Estate Investment JSC.

The 25-storey building, with two basement levels, will have a construction footprint of 2,950 square meters and total floor area of about 74,713 square meters, with investment capital of 1.057 trillion VND (46.5 million USD).

The provincial People’s Committee has assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate the housing and apartment projects, while the Department of Agriculture and Environment will take charge of the irrigation project.
