Numerous large projects have been attracted to the province such as Bac Giang based An Khanh Thermal Power Plant Project in Vu Xa commune, Luc Nam district (worth over 22,546 billion VND/993 million USD); Bac Giang DNP Clean Water Plant project in Lang Giang district (valued at 1,286 billion VND/56.6 million USD); the project to setup Vietnam Lens Technology Company Limited (capitalized of 200 million USD); Infrastructure Investment project in Lan Son Industrial Cluster in Luc Nam district; Khai Hong Plastic Plant (worth 150 million USD) and the Social House Construction project for the workers in Van Trung Industrial Park (valued at 150 million USD).

To date, the province is home to 1,331 projects, comprising of 1,010 domestic investment ones with the total register capital of over 82.6 trillion VND (3.6 billion USD) and 321 FDI projects valued at nearly 3,800 million USD.

Additionally, 1,255 enterprises, 142 representative offices and branches have been newly established locally, up 59.3 percent comparing to the same period last year. Totally, there are 7,112 domestic businesses worth over 45 trillion VND (nearly 2 billion USD) and 311 FDI firms capitalized at 3.14 billion USD.
