As of mid-June 2026, the Tu Lien Bridge project and its approach roads had secured 96.7% of the required land area.
Construction has progressed on multiple fronts, including completion of all bored piles and foundations for the main bridge towers. Work is also advancing at key interchanges, with the project scheduled for completion before APEC 2027.
At the Ngoc Hoi Bridge project, Hanoi has handed over 100% of the required site area. Contractors completed all 80 bored piles for the bridge’s two main pylons and are continuing work on approach bridges and supporting structures. The project is also slated for completion ahead of the meeting.
For Tran Hung Dao Bridge, more than 82% of the required land has been cleared. Construction under the public-private partnership (PPP) model began in December 2025 and is progressing on multiple sections. The bridge is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2027.
Meanwhile, work on Thuong Cat Bridge and Van Phuc Bridge is advancing following substantial progress in site clearance. Contractors are carrying out foundation, pier, and girder installation, with overall completion rates reaching nearly 16% and 19%, respectively.
Two major bridges under the Ring Road No. 4 – Capital Region project, Hong Ha Bridge and Me So Bridge, are also being accelerated.
Site clearance has been completed on the Hanoi side, while construction teams are working simultaneously on foundations, piers, and superstructure components.
According to the management board, the goal is to open the Hong Ha, Me So and Hoai Thuong bridges before APEC 2027, while ensuring the timely completion of Hanoi's other key bridge projects as scheduled.
