Taking place from 8 August to 30 September 2026, the exhibition showcases 3 sculpture collections including “Ceramic Sutras”, “Bird-Bodied Buddhas” and novice monk statues. The artworks were inspired by compassion, sharing and spiritual values in daily life.

The “Ceramics – Sounds of the World” exhibition space at Sun World Ba Den Mountain tourist site in Tay Ninh province.

The exhibition also features hands-on pottery-making activities, offering visitors an opportunity to experience traditional craftsmanship and explore the traditionall culture of the pottery village.

Artist Nguyen Tuan was born in 1981 in Hai Phong and graduated from University of Industrial Fine Arts. He has lived with Phu Lang traditional craft village for over 20 years and built a production workshop there.

Visitors enjoy exploring the exhibition featuring 50 “Ceramic Sutra” artworks.

Through his skillful hands and artisans of Phu Lang pottery village, clay is imbued with life and made into artworks that blend the beauty of traditional craftsmanship with the profound philosophical values of Buddhism.

Phu Lang pottery village is one of the longest traditional craft villages in Kinh Bac region, featured with traditional pottery techniques including shaping, sculpturing, eel skin-like glaze and traditional firing methods.

The presence of clay, traditional craft and artisans from Phu Lang village in the space of Ba Den Mountain enables traditional ceramic products to come closer to the public and creates a strong bond between cultural preservation and tourism development.

Stamp set features Vietnam’s national ceramic treasures
