The event, held in Viem Xa residential area, featured a series of well-known Quan Ho melodies performed by female and male singers on boats, recreating the distinctive cultural space associated with the northern folk genre.

Organisers said the programme aimed to promote and introduce the cultural value and aesthetic beauty of Quan Ho folk singing, a UNESCO-recognised intangible cultural heritage, while helping to strengthen public confidence, foster unity and build momentum among people ahead of the Party Congress.

The performance was part of a broader communication and cultural campaign launched during the peak period of preparations for the 14th National Congress. According to local authorities, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has proactively developed and implemented a province-wide plan focusing on visual propaganda at offices, public institutions and communal spaces.

Publicity efforts have been expanded through electronic boards, LED screens and online platforms, alongside a wide range of cultural, artistic and sports activities linked to political tasks and the spiritual life of residents.

Numerous cultural and artistic events highlighting the distinctive identity of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac have been organised, creating focal points in communications surrounding the Congress.

Grassroots-level outreach has also been strengthened through mobile film screenings, art performances and visual displays in communes and wards, ensuring information about the 14th National Congress is disseminated in an accessible and engaging manner.

In parallel, sports and physical activities celebrating the Party, the Congress and the Lunar New Year have been held, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere of emulation among officials, Party members and the wider public.
