BAC GIANG - On August 2, the People's Committee of Bac Giang province organized a meeting to commend and reward 3 students of Bac Giang High School for the Gifted who have just won Gold Medals in Physics and Chemistry at the 2024 International Olympiad, including: Than The Cong and Truong Phi Hung (both won the Gold Medal in Physics); Giap Vu Son Ha (Gold Medal in Chemistry) as well as award Certificates of Merit to two outstanding teachers.

BAC GIANG - On the afternoon of August 1, the Department of Transport (DOT) of the two provinces of Bac Giang and Thai Nguyen held a conference to evaluate the current situation and results of the coordination of transportation development between the two localities; discuss and agree on upcoming tasks. 

BAC GIANG - On the morning of July 31, the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a conference to review the progress of the infrastructure and warehouse project of the Bac Giang city International Logistics Center under the chair of Phan The Tuan, PPC Vice Chairman. 

BAC GIANG- Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee of Bac Giang province on July 31 had a working session with the Standing Board of the Party Committee of Luc Ngan district regarding implementation of its political tasks since beginning this year, results of administrative unit arrangement and preparation for the all-level party congress in Luc Ngan district Party Committee for the 2025-2030 tenure. 

BAC GIANG - On July 31, the Prime Minister issued a Decision to recognize that Bac Giang urban area meets criteria for second tier urban area under Bac Giang province. Accordingly, the recognized second tier Bac Giang urban area in Bac Giang province includes the entire administrative boundary of the existing Bac Giang city and the existing Yen Dung district, covering an area of 258.30 square kilometers, including 34 commune-level administrative units.
