Huong Lam Secondary School receives over 6.7 billion VND funding for classrooms and computer lab
BAC NINH - Huong Lam Secondary School in Xuan Cam commune of Bac Ninh province on January 14 broke ground on a new two-storey classroom building and received a donated computer lab under a project funded by South Korea’s KFHI organisation.
The project, jointly launched by the Xuan Cam commune Party Committee and People’s Committee, KFHI Korea and the KIA Junior Global volunteer group, includes the construction of a two-storey building with six classrooms, along with the provision of a computer room for the school.

KFHI Korea is funding the project under a turnkey model, with total investment of more than 6.7 billion VND (293,008 USD). The construction is scheduled for completion in August 2026.
Local officials said the project would help modernise the school’s facilities, enable students to better access information technology and improve the quality of education, in line with Vietnam’s digital transformation goals in the education sector.
Education is one of the key areas of focus in KFHI Korea’s corporate social responsibility activities. Support for Huong Lam Secondary School forms part of a broader series of humanitarian and educational assistance programmes that KFHI is implementing in Vietnam, aimed at improving teaching and learning conditions while strengthening cooperation, friendship and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and South Korea.
Previously, KFHI Korea supported the construction of the Samsung Hope School in Hiep Hoa commune, according to local officials.
In the 2025–2026 academic year, Huong Lam Secondary School has 28 classes with more than 1,200 students. The school currently has 16 classrooms and 14 functional rooms but still lacks 15 classrooms as well as some teaching equipment and learning facilities.
The school has met Vietnam’s national education standards at Level 1 and is working towards achieving Level 2 status by 2028.
Local education officials said the new funding would significantly improve infrastructure conditions, allowing the school to organise educational activities more effectively and contribute to raising education quality in the area.
