Young entrepreneurs in Bac Ninh champion innovation and integration
BAC NINH - Young business leaders in Bac Ninh have pledged to accelerate innovation, digital transformation and international integration as the provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association launched its first official term following an organizational merger, underscoring the province’s ambitions to strengthen private-sector growth.
The association has recently held its first congress for the 2026-2029 term at the Kinh Bac Cultural Center, attended by leaders of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, provincial officials and representatives of the local business community.

Delegates adopted a development agenda under the slogan “Bac Ninh Young Entrepreneurs: Pioneering Innovation – Creating Value – Advancing into a New Era,” with priorities including digital transformation, leadership development, trade and investment promotion, membership expansion and social welfare activities.
Speaking at the congress, Mai Son, Standing Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh People’s Committee (PPC), described the event as a significant milestone marking a new phase for the organization after its consolidation.

He said the congress laid the foundation for building a unified and stronger young business community capable of meeting the province’s development requirements in the years ahead.
The provincial leader praised the contributions of young entrepreneurs, noting that despite economic challenges, they had demonstrated resilience, creativity and ambition.
Beyond supporting economic growth, local business leaders have also played an active role in community development through a range of social welfare initiatives, he said.

The provincial leader highlighted what he described as major opportunities facing Bac Ninh, particularly after the Politburo approved a proposal to develop the province into a centrally governed city.
The plan is expected to open a new chapter of development and create fresh momentum for investment and economic expansion.
The PPC Vice Chairman called on young entrepreneurs to go beyond traditional business success by mastering technology, embracing global thinking and taking the lead in innovation. He urged them to pursue larger ambitions and create greater value for both their enterprises and their hometown.
For the 2026-2029 term, the association was tasked with focusing on four key priorities: strengthening internal unity, improving support services for members, serving as a trusted bridge between businesses and government, and contributing policy recommendations to support socio-economic planning and development.
Provincial authorities also reaffirmed their commitment to supporting businesses through administrative reforms, transparent governance and measures aimed at improving the investment climate. Bac Ninh pledged to continue addressing obstacles faced by enterprises and create favorable conditions for growth across sectors.
The congress introduced a 90-member executive committee for the new term. The PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son was elected honorary chairman, while Nguyen Van Dai, Chairman of Dai Phuoc Thinh Nhu Y Group JSC, was elected chairman of the Bac Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association.
At the event, Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, presented the Third-Class Labor Order to the association on behalf of the State President in recognition of its contributions.

Several organizations and individuals also received commendations from the government, provincial authorities and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.
On the same day, the association and the provincial Department of Finance co-hosted the Vietnam Private Sector Forum 2026 (VPSF 2026), where business representatives discussed ways to enhance participation in global supply chains.
Addressing the forum, Mai Son said the theme, “Vietnam’s Private Economy: Institutional Breakthroughs and Public-Private Cooperation,” reflected the country’s development priorities.
He outlined five strategic directions for Bac Ninh’s private sector, including making it a key driver of economic growth, accelerating institutional reforms, prioritizing high-tech industries and logistics, fostering an innovation startup ecosystem, and promoting green, circular and sustainable economic development.
