Bac Giang: 106 investment projects licensed, added capital

(BGO) – In the first six months of the year, the
northern province of Bac Giang attracted a total of 1.67 billion USD of investment
to 106 new and existing projects, equal to 66.9 percent of its yearly plan.

Among the newly-licensed projects, there were 57 domestic projects and 29 foreign-invested ones. As many as 77 million USD was added to 20 existing FDI projects. Most investment projects were in the industrial and manufacturing sector, trade and services, and agriculture.
To date, there have been 1,196 investment projects operating in the province, including 916 domestic projects and 289 FDI ones, with a combined registered capital of over 7.82 billion USD.
