Most of the newly-established businesses are private, limited liability companies with one or more than two members and joint stock companies, with a total registered capital of over 930 billion VND (41 million USD).

To date, nearly 6,000 firms have operated in the province, including more than 5,600 domestic and 261 foreign businesses, with combined registered capital worth over 35 trillion VND (1.5 billion USD) and 3 billion USD, respectively.

The results were attributed to the provincial People’s Committee’s efforts to improve the local investment environment. It has worked to reform administrative procedures, create favourable conditions for businesses and investors in terms of access to land and infrastructure and implement start-up supporting policies in the 2017-2020 period.

The provincial Department of Planning and Investment has set a goal of granting registration certificates of establishment to over 1,000 businesses in 2017./.
