Bac Giang city strengthens cooperation with China’s Nanning city

The representatives of the two cities emphasized the friendship between Vietnam and China. Hoan said that Bac Giang city is located on the arterial traffic route connecting Hanoi capital with Lang Son city and Huu Nghi international border gate bordering China. In recent years, the city has developed rapidly, with more than 2,100 enterprises, over 100 cooperatives and nearly 12,000 business households. The rate of trained workers surpasses 75 percent.
The city is determined to maintain the goals of promoting rapid and sustainable economic development, ensuring socio-political stability, improving material and spiritual lives of the people, preserving and upholding traditional cultural values. Bac Giang will focus on developing services and industry, building synchronous infrastructure, protecting the environment in association with sustainable eco-tourism development, creating a solid premise to become a driving force for the general development of Bac Giang province.
Based on the strengths and potential of the two localities, Bac Giang city proposes cooperating with Nanning city in a number of fields. The city will create favorable conditions to attract large enterprises from Nanning to invest in large-scale industrial parks and clusters, trade-service centers, hotels, resorts and restaurants in Bac Giang city.
The leaders of the two cities signed the Letter of Intent on the establishment of friendly relations, creating a foundation for strengthening cooperation between the two localities in the coming time.
