Fast participation, ready programme

Since early May, the Police Division of Fire Fighting and Rescue (PSD) has divided into several rehearsals of firefighting and rescue at the athletes’ competition and accommodation places. The officials and soldiers are ready to be on duty round the clock.

The standing forces ensure order and security at the provincial Gymnasium.

Particularly, to ensure fire prevention safety, the Division has collaborated with Muong Thanh hotel and provincial Gymnasium to carefully practice the firefighting and rescue programmes, timely take lesson learn and experiences to prevent any bad case.

Colonel Nguyen Viet Binh, Head of the Police Division of Fire Fighting and Rescue said the rehearsal session helped businesses and agencies firmly understand the skills, timely stop the fire at the source if it occurs. Now, both the grassroots and professional firefighters are ready to ensure the fire prevention safety during SEA Games 31.

Besides, the public security forces at the agencies and localities have thoroughly prepared programmes to ensure public order, traffic safety as well as launched patrol teams to clarify the criminal cases.

The PSD directed Division of Traffic Police and municipal Public Security Division to arrange forces and vehicles to actively route early; avoid congestion and racing. Particularly the routes for athletes, officials are assigned to guide the delegation, especially policewomen to route the traffic so as to create beauty and friendly image.

Contributing to SEA Games is responsibility and honor

Implementing the direction from the Ministry of Public Security, the provincial People’s Committee and PSD have early implemented plans and programmes to ensure order and security for SEA Games 31 in the province.

Colonel Do Duc Thinh, Vice Director of the PSD, Head of Security Sub-Committee shared: “We direct leaders of the public security at the units and localities to enhance political and ideology education; grasp thoroughly the officials and soldiers about the special importance of security and order for SEA Games 31”.

The PSD assigned all members of core forces to be on duty; encouraged them to recover difficulties, highly concentrate on the task; mobilized big quantity of special vehicles, weapons, utilities, technical equipment to control security at the entrance places to support the forces in charge of securing the public order.

500 officials and soldiers are mobilized to set up more than 60 fixed teams and stations as well as 20 mobile patrol groups at various layers to protect the competition venues, accommodation and training places for athletes; ensure the public order and security alongside the travel road of the delegates.

They are ordered to pay special attention to local areas, suspected cases to prevent any action affecting to the security at early manner during SEA Games 31.

The thorough preparation and nonstop efforts from provincial public security forces surely will help building success of SEA Games 31, leaving good impression about the country and people in Vietnam in general and Bac Giang in particular on international friends.
