Regarding the implementation of public investment capital in 2023, Hiep Hoa district has 110 construction project to receive budget capital with total investment of nearly 3.5 trillion VND (148.9 million USD). 85 projects which were transferred to 2023 have been disbursed nearly 108.7 billion VND (accounting for 36 percent of the plan), 21 new projects are under site clearance and investor selection stage.

The district has actively taken efforts and gradually completed the standard of fourth class urban in line with Hiep Hoa urban development programme in 2021 – 2023 period. To date, 48 out of 63 standards have been done with total score of 70 out of 100 (qualified score of over 75) while 15 standards are not passed.

At the inspection, the district leader proposed and suggested many solutions to remove the bottleneck issues and accelerate the project execution progress in the area. Leaders of some sectors clarified local problems and recommended specific measures.

At the event, PPC Chairman highly spoke of the district effort to reclaim the land for clearance. Also, he made clear more difficulties and limitations in project implementation and disbursement of public investment capital while urging the district to focus on directing and executing key tasks.

Hiep Hoa district was considered driving force for socio-economic development in the West of Bac Giang. Accordingly, from now on till 2025, the district needs to follow urbanization and soon become Hiep Hoa township. The economic structure must be switched by boosting the development of industry, commerce and service. Besides, the district was ordered to focus on developing hi-tech agriculture, creating products under One Commune One Product programme and clean produce, expand consumption market for farm produce at adjacent economic centers like Hanoi capital, Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen province among others.

The provincial leader requested the district to boost budget collection, search mechanizm and creative method to mobilize all investment sources for local construction while urging disbursement of public investment capital to be top leading district in this task.
