Bac Giang provincial leader visits and extends Tet greeting to embassies and international organizations in Vietnam
At the Embassy of Russia to Vietnam, the delegates were received by Ambassador Gennady Bezdetko. The provincial leader hoped that in the upcoming time the Embassy of Russia and personally Ambassador will pay more attention to supporting the trade and investment promotion activities to lure more foreign direct investment (FDI) businesses to the province while facilitating to welcome key farm produce and other products in Bac Giang, especially lychee.

Ambassador Gennady Bezdetko thanked for emotion from Bac Giang province and informed that several provinces and cities of Vietnam have established cooperative relationships with Russia localities. So he expected Bac Giang will provide more information about local condition, potential and strength so the Ambassador can research, study to create more connection.
At ADB in Vietnam led by Andrew Jeffries as Country Director, PPC Vice Chairman informed that Bac Giang has executed many projects, some of which were completed from the ODA loan of ADB. They greatly contribute to the provincial socio-economic development.

In the upcoming time, the provincial leader wished ADB to pay further attention and offer more loan to implement the construction project of living waste water treatment system in Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province in the period 2021 – 2025; create favorable condition for private companies in the province to study and approach to ADB’s capital source to develop the production and business activities.
Extending Tet greeting to the Embassy of Israel to Vietnam, led by Ambassador Nadav Eshcar, the provincial leader pressed on recent cooperative ties on various fields between Bac Giang and Israeli partners with several positive results.

To tap the farming potentials and advantages helping boost up local socio-economic growth, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son and Ambassador discussed many key issues such as technical assistance in high – technology agriculture, cooperation to launch animal husbandry conference and investment promotion event in Israel…
At the same day, the delegates had a working session with Christian Manhart, Representative of UNESCO in Vietnam. The provincial leader expected that in near future, UNESCO office will pay attention and assist Bac Giang to register document “Woodblock of Vinh Nghiem pagoda” to nomination round in 2024 – 2025 under the Memory of the World Programme; support three provinces of Bac Giang, Quang Ninh and Hai Duong to build the profile of Yen Tu relic and landscape complex then propose UNESCO to recognize as world heritage.

With the hope to establish and tighten more relation, UNESCO’s Head Representative Christian Manhart said he supports all proposals from Bac Giang and is ready to accompany and assist the localities to accelerate the document completion.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son took the occasion to present flowers, gifts and introduce key and typical farm produce of Bac Giang as well as extend Christmas and New Year Wishes to the Ambassadors and Representatives of international organizations in Vietnam.
