Provincial People’s Committee Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thu Ha inspects the progress of sub-areas 2 and 3 of the Neo town urban residential area (Yen Dung). |
The Chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee granted investment licences to the projects to build sub-area 1 of Lac Phu residential area in Nham Son commune and sub-areas 2 and 3 of a new urban area in Neo town in 2015. To implement these projects, the investors have built new technical and social infrastructure on 18-20 hectares.
To date, the first project has basically completed its main categories while the second one has constructed technical infrastructure on a 10-hectare area. The investor has completed land clearance plan for the rest area and the entire technical infrastructure facilities will be finished by the end of this year’s fourth quarter.
During discussions, many opinions said there are many limitations and difficulties in the implementation of the two projects. Under the planning, several land lots for residence in combination with service business of the Lac Phu project with large areas are unsuitable to real conditions and land-use demand of local people, causing difficulties in operation for businesses.
Meanwhile, two households have not yet agreed on land clearance. Hence, the investor and the district People’s Committee asked authorised agencies to adjust the detailed plan of the project in order to finish it as scheduled. For the second project, the progress of cultural centre construction was four months later than planned while land clearance is yet to be completed in some areas, affecting the construction of transportation works.
